Remember...I'm cute!

The girls new school district is much more advanced than their last school. This year has been quite a challenge to say the least. One area that the girls are particular that they are struggling with is writing. They really didn't have much experience with writing going into 3rd grade, while their classmates have been writing since kindergarten. The girls know how to write a complete sentence, they know how to capitalize and use correct punctuation, and they know what proper spacing should be. However when writing a story they rush so much that they forget to incorporate all the above. So to help them out, I bought each of them a journal. Where I write them a question, they answer than they write me a question that I answer. Just want a fun way to get them writing their thoughts down and practice the art of writing. So after writing down a question for Justine, I added, remember, write a complete sentence and use proper capitalization. So she answered the question and then wrote out a question for me...then added remember...I'm cute!
