Ben always wanted two children (I wanted one). Ben wanted girls.....guess what? Ben got his wish. Then today the girls made me realize how girly our house, and how that effects Ben. I realized how different our house would be with two boys instead of two girls. And all the crap poor Ben has to put up with.
For instance, not putting the toilet seat down will cause major fits and any one of us will insist that Ben get up and fix the situation immediately. There is no burping in our house, no muddy clothes--we actually have a picture taped to the back door that according to Justine states, "no muddy boots in the house" If Ben forgets, one of the three females promptly points out the dried mud and hands him a broom. We make Ben take care of the garbage, we take his hat and hide it.....would boys do that or would they all have matching hats instead?
Today I realized that poor Ben does not get any breaks. This morning as the girls and I cuddled in bed, Ben was picking out his clothes for the day, Justine decided she did not like the clothes that Ben picked out and put them back and proceeded to pick out the clothes that she wanted Ben to wear. Instead of having one wife, Ben has three! Oh and its only going to get worse.
Ben as always.....your a good man Charlie Brown!
That was so cute and so sweet! I love that your girls take such good care of their daddy!!!
